Prince Moulay Rachid scoots into action
Rabat August 25, 2006 – His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid was seen working tirelessly all summer long. Today, His Royal Highness received the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed al-Nahayan.
During the televised meeting, Prince Moulay Rachid and Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed al-Nahayan reviewed the Royal Air Forces as a part of official welcome ceremony, before two dignitaries hold official talks.
His Royals Highness, who has a wealth of training, devotion and long years of experience in political role, was the picture of elegance, wearing a dark tailor made suit.
Diplomatic work has became an increasingly important part of the prince's activities, which are founded on impressive academic accomplishments.

Prince Moulay Rachid paves the way for continuity of the institution of monarchy
Morocco, August 20, 2006 - His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid marked today the fifty-three anniversary of the Revolution of the King and the People, a landmark in the country's history, which illustrates the heroic struggle of the Alaouite Throne and Moroccan people against French occupation.
On August 20, 1953 the French colonial authorities exiled Alaouite Royal Family, after the Late King Mohammed V - grandfather of Prince Moulay Rachid - refused to sign decrees consecrating French domination over Morocco.
Prince Moulay Rachid has been heavily involved in spearheading many of the nation's initiatives and projects that contribute the great deal to the development and progress of Morocco.
The Prince has become a pioneer in the effort to promote the dialog among civilization, and has liaised with statesmen to ensure the evolution beyond the boundaries.
His Royal Highness efforts are advocating a continuity of Morocco’s history, society, institution and the monarchy, the core stated by his grandfather the Late King Mohammed V.

Prince Moulay Rachid revitalizes the spirit of Moroccan-Russian bond
Rabat, Apr. 20 – HRH Prince Moulay Rachid known for maintaining his own unique dedication of working with cultural interests, has attended in the Rabat’s Mohammed V Theater the concert of the Alexandrov Red Army Chorus. This is their first show ever in Morocco.
Prince Moulay Rachid, who is acknowledged as the pioneer of a certain type of the management of cultural diversity, has enhanced by his presence a significant depiction of Moroccan and Russian relationship. Culture minister Mohamed Achaari in his welcome address deemed that the presence of HRH Prince Moulay Rachid evidences the excellence of relations between Morocco and Russia. Prince Moulay Rachid of Morocco, like his father the late Majesty King Hassan II, is a passionate practitioner of the game of golf. Prince Moulay Rachid outshines on mission in Sahara
Africa - March 31th, 2006 HRH Prince Moulay Rachid of Morocco outshined on humanitarian mission with Moroccan delegation of royal and governmental officials to African Sahara. His departure on five-day trip is meant to highlight the developments in the region and to evaluate the humanitarian situation in areas.
The mission not only is a testament of Prince Moulay Rachid manifestation to not tolerate to the suffering of the old, the sick and the children, but also showed the prince’s long time of commitment and hard work to help establish the better future of Moroccan Saharan’s people.

Princesse “courage” ou Princesse “au grand cœur”, S.A.R. la Princesse Lalla Hasna a fait le choix décisif dans sa vie en consacrant tout son temps et son énergie aux causes sociales et environnementales dans le Royaume. S.A.R la Princesse Lalla Hasna a mérité incontestablement ses galons de “Princesse militante” au service de la lutte contre la fracture sociale et au bénéfice du développement durable. Sa perspicacité et son intelligence d’analyse et d’action ont endurci son engagement et sa méthodologie d’action, fondés sur un partenariat pérenne et associant de très larges franges d’acteurs nationaux, publics, privés, associatifs, administratifs et élus, dans une cohésion sans faille que régissent des conventions tripartites dûment établies et des cahiers des charges bien précis. Il faut souligner dans le portrait de S.A.R la Princesse Lalla Hasna, la dimension affective, humaniste et sociale de son action au sein de la Fondation Mohammed VI pour la protection de l’environnement qu’elle dirige depuis bientôt quatre ans. N’avait-elle pas atteint les esprits de tous les citoyens et attendri les cœurs de toutes les mères quand elle avait décliné ses convictions : “nul ne peut ignorer les effets de la pollution sur la santé de nos enfants. Mon cœur de mère et de Marocaine est donc inquiet à la pensée que nos fils et nos filles n’aient pas le droit de vivre dans un pays respectueux de la nature et de sa beauté”. Le combat que mène S.A.R la Princesse Lalla Hasna est à la mesure de son total dévouement aux nobles causes de la responsabilité, de l’action pragmatique, de la proximité, de l’humanisme, du souci constant de préserver le patrimoine et les ressources naturelles pour les générations futures. Le souci pratique et concret se mesure dans cette attitude de S.A.R la Princesse Lalla Hasna qu’elle explique par ses propres soins : “la propreté des villes, des campagnes, des plages et des forêts ne relève pas d’un débat abstrait mais pose un problème réel pour l’ensemble des composantes de la société tant au niveau central que local”. L’éventail des engagements au quotidien de S.A.R la Princese Lalla Hasna ne se limite pas à la seule Fondation Mohammed VI pour la protection de l’environnement. La Princesse “verte” dirige aussi la Société marocaine d’archéologie et du patrimoine, responsabilité qu’elle alterne avec celle de Présidente d’honneur de la Ligue nationale des Femmes fonctionnaires des secteurs public et semi-public. Elle est aussi très active dans l’Association marocaine des Villages d’enfants S.O.S comme elle est de tous les combats pour la réhabilitation de l’enfance et de la lutte con-tre la pauvreté. En témoignent ses autres engagements dans les Associations marocaines de lutte contre la Myopathie, de l’aide aux enfants malades et d’Al Ihssane. Philanthrope et généreuse, dotée d’un registre affectif immense en direction des exclus, des pauvres et des démunis, notre militante, loin d’être rebutée par les multiples engagements qu’elle honore parfaitement, le dit à qui veut l’entendre : son combat ne fait que commencer. Pour restituer la dignité aux infortunés et ouvrir des horizons plus heureux aux citoyens et citoyennes en difficulté.
