Gabon, June 17, 2009 - On June 17, 2009, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid ended His state visit to Gabon marked by attendance of the state funeral of the President Omar Bongo.

Later in the day, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid flew back home to Morocco.

Gabon, June 16, 2009 - His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid and about 40 heads of state from Africa and France attended the state funeral in Gabon to mark the death of the President Omar Bongo.

After Crown Prince Moulay Rachid arrived to the Presidential Palace, He approached the coffin where He laid down the wreath and then signed a condolence book.

Crown Prince Moulay Rachid learned with sorrow about the death of the President Omar Bongo.

Crown Prince Moulay Rachid asked Ali Ben Bongo to pass on His sincere sorrow and support to his family and relatives and people of Gabon.

Gabon, June 16, 2009 - His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid made two-day state visit to Gabon starting on June 16, 2009.

The visit started with reception at the airport in the early hours morning.

Afterwards Crown Prince Moulay Rachid and the potential President of Gabon, Ali Ben Bongo, held bilateral talks at the Presidential Palace.

During the visit, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid will attend the state funeral to say farewell to late President Omar Bongo.

The program of the state visit will also include holding talks with other senior political officials.

Crown Prince Moulay Rachid stressed, while the end of the school year is an exciting time for children, it also offers the opportunity to review the changes and to prepare for transition that will help children stay motivated about education so they can achieve the full benefit of schooling.

Crown Prince Moulay Rachid also believes that the end of the school year is a landmark to commemorate and encourage children to reflect on what they've learned while envisioning their future.

Rabat, June 12, 2009 - Seeking full lives for autistic children, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid convened on Friday June 12th, 2009 a compassionate seminar to create awareness on Autism.

In order to draw attention to the growing need for concern and awareness about autism, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid believes in a call for innovative strategies in support of improving the social integration of children with Autism.

Crown Prince Moulay Rachid also hopes that this humanitarian event will raise understanding of the challenges faced by families living with Autism.

The event was also marked by the performance of the Lebanese singer Wael Kfoury.

Morocco and the world celebrate on Saturday the 39th birthday of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid, one of the greatest leaders of all time who was born on June 20th 1970.

Noting that Crown Prince Moulay Rachid works enduringly to promote and strengthen close relations between Morocco and countries around the world in economic, trade, investment, cultural and educational sectors.

Rabat, May 14, 2009 - In celebration of the 53rd Anniversary of the founding of the Royal Armed Forces, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid hosted a special luncheon Thursday, May 14, to honor the men and women who served the Kingdom.

As part of an event, the celebration offered the Royal Armed Forces an opportunity to reflect on the leadership and inspiring aura of Crown Prince Moulay Rachid that pervaded the anniversary.

Crown Prince Moulay Rachid, who plays a strong leadership role in the military, stressed that the Royal Armed Forces are the guarantor of the national security and domestic tranquility of Moroccan people.

Hand in hand, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid saluted Moroccan soldiers involved in abroad peacekeeping operations who are serving to prevent potential conflicts and paid tribute to their families and sacrifice of Moroccan military spouses.

Crown Prince Moulay Rachid made the concluding statement in the celebration of the 53rd Anniversary of the founding of the Royal Armed Forces, expressing appreciation of the strength of service members and families who are sacrificing for the Kingdom of Morocco, saying they deserve full support in return.

Fes, May 12, 2009 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid had, on Tuesday May 12th 2009, a luncheon with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, before the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi concluded a three-day official state visit to Morocco.

Crown Prince Moulay Rachid, dressed in the impressive dark suit, clearly wants to continue dialogue on regional and bilateral programs of cooperation in economic areas and to exchange experiences on ways and tools for strengthening cooperation in society.

Apart from mutual Morocco-UAE relations, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid spoke about several other current international issues with a stress on the current economic crisis and mutual steps in ameliorating its impacts.

Crown Prince Moulay Rachid also welcomed the current investments by the UAE as they have been presented by the understanding of Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.   

Fes, May 12, 2009 - To confront Morocco’s energy challenges, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid chaired on Tuesday May 12th 2009 a signing ceremony for the power plant expansion in Fes.

Stressing the social and economic impact of the project, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid underlined that the reliable and affordable energy is essential to building Morocco’s healthy economy, reminding, the power of energy drives global economic development.

With clear believes that the availability of reliable and affordable energy is critical to sustained economic growth, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid warned that energy shortages is a result of high prices, slow economic growth and adversely affects people's quality of life.

Crown Prince Moulay Rachid hopes if the project goes as to plan, the plant will produce and deliver electricity to people, cutting number of Moroccan people who still don't have access to electricity.
